Oftentimes when we’re asked why we profess to believe in God, we may find it a bit difficult. Merely saying that we do, is super easy, but WHY we do, can be a bit challenging. This is especially true if it is something you’ve grown up with, grown up in, been taught to adhere to/believe in, dare I say love. Going even further, it’s even more difficult and probably worrying if when you ask yourself the question of why you believe what you do, you can’t answer it. If you’re an inquisitive person, you may not have this issue but the vast majority of people do.
In fact, there comes a point in every human's life when they begin to question everything they have come to know - or most things. I encourage that, here’s why; when you eventually arrive at your conclusion, you’ll either be more rooted than ever, or completely abandon all the falsehoods you’ve come to believe and love. Whatever way, you’ll be more comfortable in who you are as a person and the values you live by. The truth is, you don’t really need to convince the masses, the only person you really need to convince is yourself.
I am a Christian; a proud one and one confident in my beliefs, but, just like you - I had to ask myself the fundamental question - why. Honestly, there are both internal and external influences as to why but in this series, I’ll detail 5 (of many) reasons why I am still a Christian. Some of you may be questioning your own Christianity or, you may be curious as to whether or not this whole Christian ‘thing’ is worth you looking into.
Over the next 5 weeks, I’ll dive deeper into each reason - you don’t want to miss out. Subscribe so you get it straight to your inbox ;) - how easy is that?!
