“…for I am the Lord who heals you.”
Exodus 15:26
Many of you reading this havent had to rely on God for physical healing. The most you’ve had is the flu or something that has been ‘cured’ by over the counter medication. There is a common myth believed by the world that God doesn’t heal anymore. He doesn’t perform healing miracles anymore - even among Christians this view is held. However, this is not true. God can and still heals today.
We may not be suffering from physical ailment, but we are suffering in other ways. We’re seeing a lot happening with the “Me Too” movement at the moment and it has been gathering more and more notoriety in recent years. Many of these women, and indeed men, are emotionally broken, they’ve experienced trauma that has left them with life-long scars. Scars that will become less painful over time but will not be completely healed. This sort of emotional scarring is not an alien concept to God. He feels your pain. Bring your emotional baggage to Him, just as you are, warts and all, you don’t have to “fix-up”. Bring your broken relationships, your broken heart, your broken family, your broken spirit. Bring it all to Him.
For those of us hanging out for physical healing, there’s something for you too. In Luke 4:40 we’re told “people throughout the village brought sick family members to Jesus. No matter what their diseases were, the touch of his hand healed every one.” Isn't this good news? All you need is a touch from Him. Ask the woman with the issue of blood in Luke 8. Ask Jairus also in Luke 8. Going even further. All God has to do is say the word of healing over you - the roman centurion can be a testament to that fact (Luke 7). He believed the word of God. Reach out to Him today for your physical healing.
Are you suffering from a sense of spiritual apathy? Are you at an all time low with your spirituality? Healing & Restoration is available to you. God knows that we’re not always up on the mountain in our experience with Him, we experience deep, deep valleys too. Sometimes we even walk away completely. The best news is that you haven’t gone too far; you never can. The grace of God can reach wherever you are (Psalm 139:8). He can take you to a higher place in Him. All you need to do is ask. Spiritual healing is available.
If you don’t fit into any of the categories above or indeed fit into all, nothing is too hard for God to heal and His healing is complete - you’ll be glad you asked Him. You’ll experience a deep peace and freedom.
Here’s what He says to you today:
Bring me the pieces of your broken heart, your broken body, your broken spirit - whatever is broken. I’ll heal you. Completely. Don’t hesitate. Let me heal you. Believe in Me, the God that heals you.
Pray this prayer today:
God, I accept your healing today. I feel weak and drained from my ailments and I know that you are the only one that can make me whole again. Forgive my doubt in You Lord, help me to experience total faith and trust in Your healing.
